We provided Marquee Hire & Furniture Hire for the Wedding and included items such as our new cream sofa’s, chrome chandeliers & coloured bar unit.

The Marquee used was 12m x 21m and was ideal for seating the 105 guests, allowing for a spacious dining area, bar/entrance area & dance floor with stage for the DJ.

This was the first outing for our new 12m wide marquee, clear window walls were used on both sides of the marquee to make the most of the views at this stunning venue.

West Country Marquees also supplied the furniture for the event – our new natural banqueting chairs with ivory pads can be seen in the photos below.

The dividing curtain can be used to separate off an area such as a dance floor area that you wish to remain hidden for that ’surprise’ factor later in the evening.  The curtain is manufactured using thicker material than our standard ivory linings to hide darker starlight linings that may be screened off.  The curtain can then be easily lifted using pull cords and forms a swag effect ~ revealing the extended part of the marquee for your evening entertainment.

We can then offer black starlight linings including blackout gables & walls to finish the effect nicely.  Starlight roofs can cover any size of marquee whether you require a small dance floor section or the entire marquee covered!

For all marquee hire for weddings booked during January we are offering a 5% booking discount along with free insurance (usually 5% of the total)….effectively a total saving of 10%!!!

Cream Sofa’s ~ Transform your marquee by adding sofa’s, these are ideal for reception, bar or chill out areas.

Board Flooring ~ In addition to our dandydura event matting, we can now offer a wooden sub-floor for any size of marquee, when used in combination with a new carpet (colour of your choice) this will provide the perfect finish for your marquee hire.

Lighting ~ West Country Marquees have added rope lighting to our marquee lighting options, these can be used as an inexpensive way of lighting dancefloor or bar areas. 

Bar Units ~ We now have added wooden bar units to our stock, we can also help with the supply of bar furniture or even stock & staff a bar for your wedding, corporate event or party!

Linings ~ We have expanded our range of ivory linings to include reveal curtains, these are perfect for creating a temporary divide between dining & dancefloor areas….when you wish to see the dancefloor area simply pull the cords to reveal the additional marquee space….we can also provided attended service to your event to assist you with anything you need help with. 

Bay Trees ~ We now have a number of bay trees in varying sizes to be hired as props for your marquee.

Clear Window Walls ~ We have purchased a number of new clear or panoramic window walls, these allow you to have an un-interrupted view from the marquee, zips at either side of the window walls allow us to easily roll up the window walls to make the marquee open sided.

Clear Gable PVC ~ In addition to the clear window walls above, we also have clear gable pvc for your marquee.  This would be ideal when you have a view from the marquee that you would like to make the most of.

We can help you with every aspect of Marquee Hire for your Wedding ~ from the intial point of contact where we provide a budgetary Marquee Hire quotation to give you an indication of likely costs, this is normally followed by a free site visit where we take a closer look at the possible areas to house the marquee, check vehicle access, and, discuss your requirements in more detail.

We then provide you with a personalised Marquee Layout Plan along with a revised quoted if necessary.  In the lead up to your big day we are always contactable should you wish to discuss any aspect of Marquee Hire, timings, guest numbers etc.  Once a day has been confirmed for us to come and erect the marquee, we liaise with other sub-contractors to ensure that everything is provided in a way to make things run smoothly ~ simple things such as ensuring that the person you have been dealing with in the build up to the wedding is on site when the marquee is erected improves our service.

Location ~ If you have a choice of sites or venues available to you, you should consider the slope of the land, ideally the flatter the better although we can erect marquees on slight slopes or with poor ground conditions…in these situations we recommend an interlocking board floor which we cover with a new carpet with colour of your choice.  Another consideration should be the view, we always try to have window walls where there is a view or perhaps west facing to maximie natural light flowing into the marquee.

Facilities ~ If we can position a marquee close to local electric or water facilities this could save on hiring in items such as generators.  We have a qualified electrician who can connect into the mains supply, running a distribution board into the marquee which we then use to run the various electrical requirements around the marquee.  Toilets can also be an expensive add on to marquee hire, if there is a building nearby which you can use this will certainly save money.

Marquee Layout ~ Marquees need not be rectangular standard layouts, we will work with you to provide separate areas – but open plan to each other, to provide you with the perfect area for your wedding reception.  We regularly add reception marquees, bar marquees, dance floor marquees & catering marquee areas on to the dining marquee area.  We also like to provide spacious marquee hire layouts so that you and your guests have plenty of room to manoever within the marquee.
