We will be providing marquee hire for weddings, corporate events & parties throughout Wales and Herefordshire from the Brecon site.  The new site will benefit the overall business as our stock will be significantly increased with the latest high quality clearspan marquees supplied by Roder, our staff numbers will also be boosted as we will be creating new jobs in 2012 at both sites.

We erected a 9m x 12m drinks reception marquee – at the last minute we even had to include walls for the marquee due to the extremely strong winds.

The main marquee (12m x 30m) provided seating for the 120 guests, a large lit bar and dance floor area.  It also included a large 12m x 6m catering area.

The Chiavari chairs were purchased new during 2009 so you can be assured of great looking marquee furniture being supplied for your wedding, corporate event or party.  West Country Marquees will also help you by setting up the furniture for you during our marquee set up.

To take advantage of this offer, your marquee hire booking needs to be booked & deposit paid by 31st December 2009 – also, don’t forget that VAT increases to 17.5% at the start of 2010 so even more reason to book up early!

One way to personalise a marquee for your event is by adding linings – we offer ivory pleated linings as standard and these are available for roof & wall linings, swags and drapes.  Alternatively we can add in coloured linings to transform the marquee.  Coloured linings are hired in from our suppliers Custom Covers and Covers & Linings.

Starlight Linings are also a popular option for marquees, particularly for dancefloor areas or party marquees.  Starlight linings can be provided in black, blue or white (see supplier links above and/or Event Equip) and are usually fitted by West Country Marquees staff.

Countrywide Heating & Cooling

All of our usual Marquee options are available for winter bookings, and, we work closely with our heater provider ‘Countrywide Heating & Cooling Ltd’ to ensure that our marquees are warm whatever the weather throws at us.  Heaters can be positioned at several positions around our marquees which allows us to spread the points at which the hot air is blown in – heaters are also thermostat conrolled and more than comfortable conditions can be easily achieved.

We also recommend board flooring for winter marquees (again 10% discount applies) to ensure a firm, safe floor for your wedding, party or corporate event.

During the winter of 2008/09 we were fully booked on no less than 6 occasions so for key dates we recommend that early contact is made to avoid disappointment.
