Marquee Hire – Flooring Options
We offer several flooring options for our marquees to suit all ground types & conditions, and, budgets.
As standard we provide our Dandydura Matting which is similar to traditional coconut matting but benefits as we are able to jet wash to ensure that the flooring is provided in a clean condition to your event. Matting is always laid onto a plastic sheet underlay to keep it dry.
An alternative to matting is to opt for carpet – this is provided new and in a wide range of colours, please Click Here to go to our suppliers website for more information on available colours. Occasionally we also have used carpet available at discounted rates. As with matting above, carpet is laid onto a plastic sheet underlay….alternatively a better finish can be achieved by opting for our interlocking board floor option to which carpets can be stapled.
When you have decided on your preferred flooring option you may also require a dancefloor for your event. Dancefloors are modular (generally 3′ x 3′ interlocking panels) which make up a standard dancefloor size of 15′ x 15′ – this size is suitable for events up to 150 guests. Dancefloors can then be increased in size by adding a handful of extra panels or by adding a second full dancefloor to make a 30′ x 15′ area.
Various different styles of dancefloor are available ranging from Parquet Wood to Black & White.
