Our story
Since 2004, we have transformed gardens, fields and venues with high quality marquees for weddings, parties and other great occasions. We work closely with our clients to ensure that every detail is taken care of – from initial enquiry right through to the day of the event.
We have a friendly, hard working team of 20+ staff at peak periods who will go out their way to ensure your event marquee is built on schedule and to the highest standards.
Eddie
Eddie was the joint founder of the company back in 2004. Away from work, he is kept busy by his daughters & spends a lot of time golfing, running & cycling.
Tom
Tom first joined West Country Marquees in 2006. When not being over enthusiastic about marquees, Tom can be seen playing or watching football or being given the run around by his three children.
Helen
Helen, a trained teacher, joined us just before COVID and has transformed the way we operate. A keen keep-fitter when prised away from her laptop.
Jack
Jack joined the team in 2018 and keeps lots of our logistics ticking over smoothly. When not on a marquee site or in the office, Jack is a keen cyclist and also loves a questionable horse racing tip from time to time.
Kyle
Kyle joined us full time back in 2021 and has used his experience as warehouse manager for Adidas to improve our working practises & storage. Kyle loves a snack.
Rhys
Rhys soon progressed from a seasonal recruit to play a leading role in large marquee builds. Now an experienced team member, Rhys also loves scoring tries for our local rugby club.
Dave W
Dave came to us full time in 2021 after travelling the world, he now leads teams & builds throughout the UK. Spends his spare time pranking Rhys.
Chris
Chris is one of our valued marquee foreman but also keeps us up to date with all matters health & safety. Kept busy completing his new house build away from work.
Dave T-T
Dave, a former tree surgeon (until he fell out of one) has been full time for a couple of years and now regularly runs jobs.
Chester
Chester came to us in Covid. He likes sniffing, running & pheasants. He hates squirrels & showers.
